Seriously slacking...

Ok, I know...it's been like.....6 months. Oops. lol Majorly and seriously been slacking at this whole blogging deal. A lot has been going on in the past few months, and it feels like things have been really hectic but finally starting to slow. Marley turned TWO at the end of September. It was bittersweet, I definitely found myself pouting like a big baby wondering where the time had gone. I feel like it was just yesterday we buckled her in her car seat for the first time, was driving home and yelling at Bruce to be careful. I got over it after a few days. LOL. Her personality is out of this world, who knew so much attitude could fit into such a small body. Her laugh is so contagious and she's always going out of her way to mess with her dad. We can't get her to stand still for nothing. I take her to the stores and it suddenly becomes survival of the fittest. Marley VS Mommy. She wins. Every. Single. Time. Poor me I know. LOL.
It's so much fun watching her grow everyday, learning and seeing things for the first time. The world is so big in her eyes and things are exciting and overwhelming. I love the way she lives life. I love her to the death of me. A mother and child bond is the most severe, unconditional, and REAL love there is. Being a mommy has absolutely been the best thing to ever happen to me in my 25 years of life. I adore her. (understatement) Ok, end of emotional mommy rant as I keep looking over at her while shes drooling all over the pillow with one shoe on and one shoe off. LOL.
Bruce finally finished his senior season of football and they ended up 2nd in conference. We were both happy that it was over to somewhat get back to a normal schedule where he's not gone all day long and traveling on the weekends. He's come a long way in the past couple of years since we've had Marley and his injuries. And this past week he just registered for his last semester til graduation! YAY.
#1 Fans :)
This was his senior game--his sister Chrissy was able to come and visit and finally meet Marley :)

I'm so excited to see where this next year will take us--but one thing I'm grateful for is all the opportunities and accomplishments we've had as a family these past few years. It hasn't always been the easiest but we've been able to make things work and hope for the best. I know God has some great things in store for us...and we couldn't be more blessed. Love you all, Larissa
